When I think of NY

When I think of New York, that is the City of New York, the first thing that comes to mind are the strong edifices which seem to bunch up at the southern tip of Manhattan. Then comes Central Park and its abundance of vegitation. Third thought that comes to mind is the personality of the city. What does that mean?

It is the personality of this great city that attracts me to venture within its limits and wander through its streets. There are so many sights and scenes, restaurants and street venders, buildings and parks that one can spend their entire lifetime discovering. The history of immagration to New York has been made apparent in the ethnic neighborhoods found throughout. As one travels outside Manhattan, they find the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens as more of a suburban atmosphere, filled with cultural and religious diversity. The "melting pot" of the world proves to show that civilization may live together, humbly.
